I am on board with everything but the wonder woman costume. It needs to be more Greek-like with a Spartan type skirt. And finally... No underwear outside the pants! The superman, batman, and cyborg redesigns REALLY stand out as a success for DC. And... The new Justice League #1... awesome!!!

I tottally agree.And one thing more.Why the FUCK did they remove the "trunks" from batman and superman?This was what made them popular.This is how they are established.DC has taken the worst decision ever in comic book history.These years are going to be the worst in the history of DC and they don't change soon then maybe dc will be destoyed forever.This is very sad because I grew up with DC and I am a DC fan (or at least I was).

yea, Stormwatch does totally need something like this... a reboot. I'm not convinced by the selection of characters as most of the main story arch was completely to do with Jackson King e.g. Battalion (why was possible one of the strongest telekinetic's... reduced to using a body? from all standing it just looked to make him meagre.) there were tonnes of really great characters Fuji, a story arch that was not truly finished, Hellfire - again, very fluctuating, he shifted form quite a lot and never really got the spotlight as much as he should. Winter, where did all that power go and why could he use it when he really needed.jenny stark, jackhawks moore, the weatherman... its probably a little to early to tell but a kick off with "the martian manhunter", "apolo", "midnighter" seems vastly devoid of any of the main character that brought anything to the story in the first place.smeel very much like a holiwood re-boot and if so, please don't. we all know the world is a better place with such uncreative money grabbing foolishness.

Ok, Jericho, I don't really care who is the next gen of cartoon watchers. Most adults today watch lots of TV, Cartoons etc because that is what we were raised on. The fact that this revamp caters to the "I wanna be Japan/China!" Nation that we have become is sickening. I love Anime, I love Manga, I do not like this. It is overly Stylized and takes the context of what is the Thundercats and utterly destroys it. Lion-O was not a child, he was at the very least 19 to 25. Panthro has fur, what is the need for the balding hair style? Tygra never had a gun, nor did he need one, Cheetara (Yes I hada crush on her and Teela) was not some tween with an eating disorder, she was a woman. (well a female cat woman anyway.) Sad to see it go the way of the Dodo like this, this cartoon looks horrible and I prey that CTNW fixes or works out something with the revamp team.

That Superboy cover worries me. The Action comics one, well, let's hope that version of the costume for Superman lasts only an issue or two. The Supergirl costume looks good, I can see the way that the cape on it goes giving it a kind of Superman X type look.

As for Superman's costume, as much as I am an advocate of underwear on the inside, I preferred his look before this. He's Superman, he doesn't need any kind of armour, unless it's meant to give him some kind of protection against Kryptonite, which is doubtful, given his head and hands are still exposed.

To be honest, IMO, DC should've left Superboy and Superman's looks untouched. Well, I'm glad to see the back of Superboy's hairstyle, but the costume was good. It comes down to 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it', and they've broke Superboy and Superman's looks by trying to fix something that worked. All we can do is hope the looks of those two reverts very quickly.

It's kind of pick and choose; no one is really sure yet. Green Lantern looks to be mostly okay, with the new #1's dealing with post-"War Of The Green Lanterns" stuff, but continuity across the board will be changed in some issues. We won't know the full details until September, when the books start releasing.

I can see why this would be done if it were the case. It'd help smooth out the transition into the DCnU post flashpoint. I was listening to a podcast earlier today (actually from a few weeks back) with Sweet Tooth's writer Jeff Lemire and he mentioned something similar. Now perhaps I misunderstood and it was just something to do with flashpoint (which I haven't been reading) so I would need to listen to it again but it is an interesting situation either way!
